Big girl bed

Last week, we moved Miriam into a "big girl bed" so that we could move Cora out of the Pack'N'Play and into the crib. She was so excited and has made a very smooth transition.

Aunt Hannah's visit

A week ago Sunday, Aunt Hannah came down to hang out with us! We had a great time reading books, playing with Emmett and just enjoying Aunt Hannah's company. Thanks for coming to see us!

Earthquake

We experienced our first earthquake early this morning:

It occurred over 100 miles from here but it sure got us out of bed!

Start 'em early

Cora is barely 4 months old and already checking out the sippy cup.

Picking up Daddy at the airport

This weekend, Joel was able to go to The Masters in Augusta, Georgia for "work." So this morning, we girls headed to the airport to pick him up and this is how it went:

Mommy saw Daddy.

Then Mim saw Daddy! As you can tell by the expression on her face, she really, really missed him while he was gone (and Mommy did too).

Cutting little fingernails

Is it any wonder I rarely trim my daughters' fingernails? This sleeper looks like it's been worn in a war or at a crime scene or something.

It doesn't seemed to have bothered the baby much though. Note the band-aid in the left hand that is supposed to be on the right hand.

Cora's dedication

This Sunday, we were honored to have our parents and a few other family members in town to celebrate our dedication of Cora. God has given us such a precious gift! Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of the whole group but we did get a picture of the four of us. It was a beautiful day in so many ways! Thank you to everyone who made the trip to spend the day with us.

For Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa Steele gave me this cradle and I'm trying to figure out how it's supposed to be used.

Great Grandma's Birthday - March 11th

Grandma Steele and Great Grandma Ekiss came down and we were able to celebrate Great Grandma's birthday with her! They helped Mommy out by watching Cora and I while she had some friends over. Great Grandma is great at reading books!
