Say cheese!

Mommy noticed my first tooth about a month ago, around July 23rd, and the second one came not too long after. I'm working on my third tooth now - on the top this time - but it can't be caught on camera just yet.

Aunt Ali comes to visit

Aunt Ali came to stay with us all last week! We had so much fun together. She read me books, played with me, kept me out of trouble, took baths with me and we even got to be roommates. She is so much fun and she was a big helper for Mommy and Daddy. I hope she can come stay again sometime.

Hartwig Reunion

Last Saturday was the Hartwig Reunion (Great-Grandma Ekiss' family) and I had a great time hanging out with Isaiah, Naomi, Grandma Steele and her sisters, Great Aunts Kathy and Connie.

Mobile Mim

Miriam is getting to be quite mobile these days, although a majority of her movement is backwards. Today I left her playing with her toys in the middle of the living room, then when I went back a little while later, this is where I found her. She heard Daddy was wanting a new sound system and was trying to help him out by taking the current one apart. As I was typing this, she had gotten herself over to a pile of papers in the office and was starting to eat them. The fun is just beginning!

A visit to the zoo

Today we went to Scovill Zoo in Decatur with Grandma Steele and cousins Isaiah and Naomi (they've been staying with Grandma and Grandpa this week).

If you look just beyond the tray of my stroller, you can see a cheetah!



Isaiah even got to touch a snake!!! Mommy probably would have let me try, but she knows my grip and she figured I wouldn't have let go and the snake would have gotten pretty mad.

This is my new buddy Ben. Mom and dad went to a show with Marcus and Shanna and left me with him for the night. The evening started out a little rough but we had a really good time. I wore him out so much he couldn't come over the next day, but he came over on Sunday so I could get a picture with him. You can't tell from the look on my face, but I am thankful for my new friend.

Mim had her friend Olivia over for the weekend. They played, ate, cried, pooped, and slept. A fun time was had by all.

A weekend of firsts

I had my first "real" food last Friday night - rice cereal!

I got to watch Daddy run a race for the first time. He's run races before, but I had never seen him. Check out my cool shirt - I love cheering on my Daddy!

I went to my first St. Louis Cardinals game! And they won the only home game they've won so far this season. This picture was on the way home... I was all worn out from such an exciting weekend.
